Held under the theme “Planned Urbanization for Cities in Transition,” the seminar brought together architects, urban planners, policymakers, academics, and built-environment professionals to discuss sustainable strategies for managing rapid urban growth. The event focused on addressing challenges faced by emerging cities, including infrastructure planning, housing development, environmental sustainability, smart city concepts, and resilient urban design.
Through engaging presentations, panel discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions, participants explored innovative approaches to shaping inclusive, well-planned, and future-ready cities in Tanzania and beyond. The seminar reaffirmed AAT’s commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and its role in driving professional excellence within the architectural community.
